How to Apply
We hold open days, vacation schemes, and training contracts suitable for students at varying stages, from first-year law to career switchers.
Take a look at our programme page to understand each of the opportunities available to you.
The Application
Your application is your opportunity to make a great first impression so be sure to take the time to prepare.
The first step is an online application, where you can share with us information on your work experience, extra-curricular activities, and academic achievements. We’ll also want to know why you’re interested in a career in law.
Once you have submitted your application, you will be invited to complete an online assessment, which will require you to apply your skills and judgment to a simulated pro bono case, based on a real-life matter. The behavioural assessment, which includes preference-type questions, is designed to help us understand your natural approach to work.
We recommend exploring our interview preparation site to guide you through each step of the application process and provide you with helpful resources that will aid you in showcasing your skills and potential.
Assessment Day — Vacation Schemes
If you are successful, you’ll be invited for an assessment day. For vacation scheme candidates, the assessment day involves an interview, and you will have the opportunity to flex your communication and analytical skills through a written task and presentation.
During the vacation scheme you’ll be assessed through supervisor feedback and invited to interview for a training contract.
